Wastewater Operator

As a Wastewater Operator with the Clear Lake Sanitary District, you’ll use your technical knowledge hands-on skills to play a crucial role in ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities: Perform maintenance tasks on pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and lift stations and related equipment as assigned. Demonstrate expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance techniques. Utilize your wastewater experience to contribute to efficient operations. Receive training in plant operations, maintenance, and laboratory testing. Embrace the challenge of obtaining a Class B CDL license with a Tanker endorsement within three months of employment.

Qualifications: Possession of or willingness to obtain a Grade I Wastewater Operator License within 12 months of hire. Desire to pursue additional grades in wastewater operations. Ability to obtain a Class B CDL license with a Tanker endorsement within three months
of employment. Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, and preventative maintenance. Previous wastewater experience is preferred, showcasing your dedication to the field.
