Real Estate Transaction Account Change Form

Make Sure Sewer Bills Are Paid In Full And Sump Pump Inspections Are Completed Before Purchasing Property

The Real Estate Transaction = Account Change form protects buyers from inadvertently having to pay for any of the seller’s unpaid sewer bills associated with the property. Unpaid sewer fees are certified every year as a lien against the property if not paid before June 30.

Clear Lake Sanitary District, City of Clear Lake and City of Ventura Ordinances require sump pump inspections at the time of sale. All failed systems must comply with the Ordinance within 30 days of initial inspection.

You can fill out the form below and submit online. Or, if you wish, you can download, print and complete the top part of the appropriate form by clicking here.

Upon receipt of the form Sanitary District personnel will complete the bottom portion and return the fully completed form to the buyer / seller or real estate agent. The objective is to ensure that the completed form is available before closing on the property even if purchasing on contract.
